🛑 VERY IMPORTANT: From October 22 until approximately November 7, 2025 we will be replacing the roof. While some construction noise is inevitable, the new roof will be installed using adhesives and applied over a thick concrete deck, which will minimize sound. From December 8–19, 2025, the ��‍♂️ pool and the �� beach crossover will be temporarily closed for scheduled repairs. However, guests will still have easy beach access ��️ via the public walkway 🚶‍♀️ located just next door to the east—we’ll have a 🚪 gate open to make this route simple and convenient.

  Beautiful condo with a huge wrap around balcony with the fabulous views of the blue water and the white sandy beach! It is so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and hear the waves! The condo is well furnished and updated! It feels so spacious with the sliding doors also opening out from the master bedroom to the huge balcony. The second bedroom also has sliding doors that open to a “Juliette” balcony overlooking the pool! We loved the sunlight coming through the condo giving the feeling of spaciousness accentuated by the mirrored wall in the living room. We will definitely stay at #1501 again! This is our second stay at the Nautilus Condos. We were not disappointed either time. Staff is very friendly and outgoing. The Nautilus is a short distance to Destin but we found wonderful restaurants and shopping close by. Totally enjoyed our stay!! Highly recommend the Nautilus Condos.

  To the laundry room wouldn't close properly, the doors to the balcony were hard to open & close, the curtains were missing the rods to open & close them, paint was falling off the ceiling in the master bedroom, the shower barely had enough pressure for the shower to come on. Just some things that need attention. We didn't let it ruinp our stay.

  We love staying at the Nautilus, so much so, we have been loyal renters for the past 8 years. The staff is always great and the views are unbeatable. We love being able to go right out to the beach or swim in the pool.
  As for Condo 1501, it was not completely updated even though it said it had been on the website. The stove, microwave, washer, and dryer need to be updated badly. The dryer did not dry our clothes after several cycles. Maybe the heating element is out? The microwave also did not warm food without adding a lot of extra time. The patio furniture was also older and was rusting and very over-used. The seats on all the chairs were very thread-bare and the legs were rusting away so the chairs did not sit evenly. The first picture of the brown furniture is correct (and must be older), the second picture of cream colored patio furniture was not accurate. The sliding glass doors were also VERY heavy and did not open easily. The one off the master bedroom only my husband could open and close. The mattress in the second bedroom was also older and when slept in kind of folded in to the center.
  Overall it was not a bad condo, just needs some updating and TLC. We were there to enjoy the beach and being outside, but it would have been nice to have the other amenities within the condo updated. We will not choose that particular condo again, but we will continue to stay at a different condo within the Nautilus. Our condo was clean, but that is something we have never had an issue with at any of their condos. We also used the outdoor grill for burgers and chicken. We love having the area to be able to do that. We also enjoyed the beach toys available in each condo and we always love being able to use the pool. Thanks for another great vacation.

  Great view - mostly clean condo. The dust on the ceiling should be cleaned and you should leave more trash bags for your guests. DO NOT USE THE DRYER! Overall it was a great stay, the heated pool was nice but I felt it could have been warmer. Overall very clean common areas.

  PROS- ABSOLUTELY THE BEST VIEW EVER! WEATHER WAS PERFECT - NOT ONE DROP OF RAIN - WATER WAS PERFECT EVERY DAY BUT ONE - HAD SOME ALGAE. CONDO WAS VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, KITCHEN VERY WELL STOCKED WITH ALL UTENSILS. EXTRA BEACH CHAIRS TOO! OFFICE STAFF WERE AWESOME!!
  CONS - ICE MAKER DID NOT WORK AND DRYER DID NOT DRY WELL. BUT WHEN YOU SEE THIS VIEW AND THIS BALCONY NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

  You could not ask for a better view than this unit. High enough to see into the water (dolphins and stingrays) and glass doors on two sides of the condo a well as a large wrap around porch for complete viewing of the gulf and beach at all times. Wonderful place to stay, I wish I owned it!

  We love staying at the Nautilus. This was our 5th year there, and we continue to return. Love the view of the beach and water. Enjoy watching the dolphins play in front of us. Like the location, as it is close to Fort Walton Beach and Destin. Staff is very friendly and most helpful. Enjoy meeting other guests and regulars at the gatherings the staff provides for us.

  Okaloosa Island is one of the best places to stay in that coast line, the white sand beaches are immaculate. But the Nautilus has seen better days. The unit was updated in certain areas but still needed attention in a lot of different ones. Cracks in the walls, ice dispenser didn’t work, dryer wouldn’t heat up to dry (which drove my wife crazy), killed a few cockroaches in the unit and outside, needs new carpet, water drainage issues in different areas of the complex and vacuum looked like it was bought at Goodwill. For the price we paid I just feel like the unit should of been more updated and appealing. When we come back we will prob stay at a different complex on the island.

  This was our first stay at Nautilus. I usually choose a smaller property on Okaloosa Island. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though this property was larger, it was quiet and not overly crowded. I loved the view and the beach chairs! The wrap around balcony was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The sofa was not so much. In unit laundry was a plus. The unit was clean but could use some additional updating. Bring beach towels, a hair dryer and food storage containers.

  We had a wonderful week at the Nautilus. Great 2 bedroom condo with very well appointed kitchen and baths. The patio furniture was in great shape (which isn’t always the case) and made sitting outside in the morning and evening a pleasure. Very comfortable beds. We will be back.

  Had a relaxing time enjoying the view from the beautiful patio overlooking the water. This resort has been well taken care of; condo was very quiet and comfortable. Although there were others above and below us we could not hear neighbors. We will definitely be back to stay: such a nice, clean, relaxing, (unit 1501) condo! Great friendly staff too!

  The staff was friendly and helpful when we dealt with them. The condo is a corner unit on the 5th floor and we haven't stayed anywhere with a balcony this spacious! The unit is very accessible to the office, the beach access walkway and the parking lot...perfect location!! The layout of the condo is good and we had everything we needed. The only downside was the bedroom needs heavy shampooing or replacing. We very much enjoyed our stay!
