Make memories at the Nautilus Condominiums which are located directly on the sugar fine sands of Okaloosa Island. The breathtaking view of the Gulf/Beach is visible from the Living area, Kitchen and Master Bedroom as well as your private balcony of this 6thh Floor End Unit Condo, 2BR/2 BA unit which is visible from the Living area, Kitchen and Master Bedroom as well as your huge private wrap around balcony. The 2 bedrooms and baths are on opposite sides of the kitchen and living areas, giving privacy for couples or families with children. Getting to the water has never been easier.

LIVING AREAS Spend quality time together in the welcoming Gulf View living room with floor to ceiling patio doors to your private balcony. Get comfy on the sofa bed and 2 recliners.

KITCHEN & DINING Whip up tasty meals in the spacious kitchen. When it’s time to eat, gather at the dining table for four. There is also counter seating for 2. The kitchen has full-size appliances including refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave & dishwasher as well as small appliances such as Drip Coffeemaker (Mr. Coffee style), Blender and Toaster. Fully furnished with everything you need to prepare and serve meals.

BEDROOMS & BATHS This single-level condo sleeps up to six guests between the two bedrooms and the sofa bed in the living area. The tranquil master bedroom is furnished with an inviting king bed. Two sets of Floor-to-ceiling patio doors provide gorgeous views of the water and entry to your private balcony. The en-suite master bathroom is outfitted with two sinks, and a recently renovated shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed. A full guest bathroom features a tub/shower combination. For your convenience, a washer and dryer are located inside the condo.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS During the months of March through October, we also offer FREE beach service of an umbrella and two chairs for guest staying 14 days or less. (Weather permitting). We have a community pool with lounge chairs. We have charcoal grills available if you would like to BBQ. Unassigned parking is available for two vehicles in the parking lot. The living room as well as the bedrooms all include televisions with cable TV. All condos have wireless internet with each unit having their own router.

THE LOCATION Nautilus Condominiums are located on the Gulf of Mexico sugar white sand beaches of Okaloosa Island/Fort Walton Beach. We are a mid-size building with only 68 units and 7 stories with 2 elevators. You never have to worry about the overcrowded beaches that high-rise buildings create. We are just the right size, so it is never a far walk to our beach walkover. We have an on-site rental office so our friendly staff are available to respond to questions & maintenance issues quickly. We have a great convenience store next door.

No smoking is allowed in condos.
No pets are allowed.

PLEASE NOTE: A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT IS REQUIRED ON ALL BOOKINGS.

We provide you an initial supply of dishwasher pods, laundry pods, liquid dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, and trash bags to get you through your first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, toiletries, napkins, condiments, spices, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, coffee, coffee filters, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for your perfect vacation.

Our units do come with full linens, including 1 of each towel per person capacity of the unit, but we do not include beach towels. Our units come with a washer/dryer so that you can wash towels as needed. Our beds are made with white quilts that are laundered prior to every check in. A blow dryer is included in each unit.

  My husband knows I love the beach and when I mentioned I'd love to wake up to turning 60 on the beach he said without hesitation, let's go.
  He didn't see what all the hoopla was about the first time we went (he's a woodsy guy) but he even said this time it was great! The condo was perfect with amazing views! Location was great and not too busy! We will definitely go back to Nautilus 1601 on Okaloosa Island!

  My BFF and I go every year to Ft. Walton and have always stayed about 5 condos up the beach. Several issues with the place that we have gone to for years made us look for another condo. I am so glad that I kept looking at the Nautilus when I was ready to book. Finding the Nautilus was a step out of our comfort zone as we stick to our beach/eating routines on a daily basis. We are 65 and 70 yrs. old and are creatures of habit. LOL! We did not know what to expect. The Nautilus was fabulous! From the very beginning they were great communicators. I was very informed about what to do and expect in order to have a glitch free vacation. The Nautilus was still close to everything that we were used to. We had everything that we needed in 1601 and more (with the exception of a gigger measure and dustpan) I have never stayed at a condo that was so well equipped! I had the master suite, and it was very comfortable. My friend stated that her bedroom/bath were comfortable as well. There is a built-in ice maker that is the bomb! Not to mention the side by side frig/freezer that kept everything very cold, which also has an ice maker. The beach view from 1601 is amazing! I loved how large the wrap around balcony is. Seats about 9 people. 1601 is just steps from the elevator, and trash chute. A very short walk to the beach. Everything was on our end of the building. We used the charcoal grills, and I must say that it was very difficult to lite as the wind is so strong, and there are no shields to deter the winds from the grills. Several people abandoned the effort. (The grills will not make me not go back). We watched the fireworks from the marionette balcony that looks over the bay side. I will definitely book there again next year. This is the first time that my feet were not black from walking around in a unit! Everyone that we came in contact with that works there were very friendly. I should have found this place several years ago. I will be booking Nautilus again!

  This is a special place for our family to meet for the holiday. It was wonderful, one reason we keep returning. Even think about coming back during summer for a short vacation and take in the summer atmosphere. Only 2 things to mention: shower liner in master bath needs replacement as it had mold on it, one blue chair at the bar needs to be reinforced as it was wobbly afraid to sit on it as it may have broken. Just minor fixes, but everything else was simply awesome.

  If you are looking for a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip, this is an excellent rental with great Gulf views. The furnishings and cleanliness of the unit were top notch. The rental office may have been a bit understaffed, but that may have been pandemic-related or we just caught them on an off week. No problems, but they did seem awfully stressed and rushed. Only real downside was the location of the facilities pool.

  Good, not great. We stayed 34 days -- due to remodeling, only 8 days were quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had bugs -- we asked management to spray and they never did anything.

    We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We did attempt to get pest control into your unit but were turned away and not allowed in. We have since gotten the unit sprayed and cleaned. I wish there was something we could do about the renovation noise, we did lower prices for the inconvenience. I do hope you will come back and visit us after the renovation project is done. We are very proud and excited about the transformation going on here at the Nautilus, the building is going to be beautiful!

  I am beyond happy with 1601, the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. The wrap around balcony,the owners allowing access to the beach toys,and Chandler's attention and attitude made my stay at The Nautilus amazing. This is my 3rd year and I have already booked this room for next year. The staff and guest are beyond helpful and friendly. I would not stay anywhere else. Love Tami

  Nautilus 1601 was a wonderful condo, quiet but convenient location. The only challenge was finding matches to light a grill!! We plan to come back next year :)

  My husband and I are repeat customers to Fort Walton Beach. We always stay at the Nautilus condominiums. Our vacation this year was fabulous as always and very much needed. We stayed in 1601, ocean front with rap around balcony. The Condo is updated through out except the bathrooms . Towels were ripped and stained on some of them. Should be replaced. House keeping didn’t clean the condo completely( which is the only time this has happened in all our stays). The bathroom in the master had dirty sinks with makeup on the cabinets. The kitchen sink and countertop needed cleaned. The floors had a lot sand on them. We still loved our stay but disappointed in the cleaning . I think the screen doors need replaced as well.

    Hi Deborah I just want to tell you that I am sorry this happen.We have been trying to inspect all units before guest check in and this unit was missed. I want you to know that we are trying to make sure all of our guest have a great time and everything in unit is clean. Please the next time you come in if there is anything wrong in the unit call me or come down to the office and I will make sure we take care of it the same day. I know sorry doesn't help now but I really hate that we dropped the ball on this one. When you book again please know that I will take care of you to make sure your stay is enjoyable.   Having never been to Nautilus before, the size of the property surprised me. It does not have a hot tub and the pool is not large. We rented unit 1601, a corner unit, sixth floor. This unit more than made up for the small pool on the back side of the property. It is on the corner with great views. The balcony is huge & wraps around the side, which is what we were looking for. In fact, it is nearer the beach than the next unit, so the view down the beach is good. The unit itself is decorated well, light & airy, with tasteful art on the walls. I love this place. The beds were very comfortable. The whole unit emits a relaxing vibe. AND IT HAS AN ICE MAKER. With the complex being small, it made for fewer people on our section of the beach. Each unit offers complimentary beach chairs (2) & umbrella for the week. The staff was friendly and we met several families who are repeat customers, which tells me a lot. There is a convenience store next door, & the supermarket is a short drive away. As for that pool—the kids loved it, and it was plenty big enough that it never seemed crowded.
